The Nursing Department of Hamilton Memorial Hospital works in collaboration with all hospital departments in the care provided to patients. In an effort to ensure public safety and public trust inquiries regarding staffing levels and staff competency may be made by calling 618-643-2361 ext. 229 to speak to the Director of Nursing. Nursing care is available to inpatients, out patients, swing bed, and observation patients of all ages, with varying degrees of illness or injury. Nursing services are provided by qualified, highly trained professionals who include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nurse Aides, Nursing Assistants and Ward Clerks. Personalized care and a highly trained staff is one of our greatest assets at Hamilton Memorial Hospital District.
